You have NINE DAYS to write a REVISION BOOKLET that covers the
entire AS Unit 1 syllabus for Economics. ALL of the booklet must be your own words. The diagrams must all be your own work (you can copy but NOT copy and paste)
using this(Unit 1 is NOT the whole OCR book. It is ONLY half of it. READ THE SYLLABUS)You are to include links, where relevant, to websites, newspaper articles etc.
You MUST MUST cover the syllabus. Obviously if you wish to add in examples from Russia, Korea or
Kazakstan then that is fine - as long as there are also examples from the UK.
There are SIX of you so I strongly suggest you split the syllabus for Unit 1 into FIVE sections and each of you are responsible for one section. The SIXTH person to act as overall Editor - perhaps someone who does not speak fluent Russian (
and has a silly haircut)
I want to see a draft copy on FRIDAY.
If any of you do ICT
then you must also design a cover.There must be an INDEX to the book.
You must include at the END of every chapter, a MIND MAP summarising the chapter.
Each chapter MUST have a list of key vocabulary.
At the
END of the book in the Appendix, there should be
BOOK REVIEWS.The manual should be in
LANDSCAPE FORMATThere must be TWO versions of this book.
One in
ENGLISH...and
one in Russian.

OpenOffice.orgNot just as good as, some say it's
better than Microsoft Office. Get fully-integrated word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing, and database tools in this Open Source software. Among the many features you'll find PDF and SWF (Flash) export, increased Microsoft Office format support, and multiple languages. If your desktop publishing needs are basic but you also want a full suite of office tools, try OpenOffice. For more complex desktop publishing tasks you might be better off with Scribus or PagePlus SE.
