New Student

I have a new student starting on Tuesday. He is from Poland so English is NOT his first language.

He is highly motivated and will work hard independently.

On the 14th October he will start Economics for the first time apart from a 7 day course in the summer.

In January he will sit all AS modules and also all A2 modules. He will follow exactly what I tell him to do. He will research. He will attend other courses (he is also studying History and Politics A level) and will attend LSE lectures.

He will pay attention in classes and will do all the homework set.

This doesn't guarantee him a grade A in Economics (after all, 10 weeks is not a long time for a 2-year course) and it certainly does not guarantee him a place in Cambridge University (which is where he wants to go).

But he stands a 'reasonable' chance.

He will be contributing to blogs, discussing things with you.

He will work hard.

He will follow all instructions in this blog and read, note take, further research where guided to do so.

Something for you to consider perhaps...?

Approach to teaching

Methods there are many, principles but few, methods often change, principles never do
