Then I remembered that the class also mentioned chess and of course there are plenty of sites for that.

This is pretty good.

My friend George, well, he wants to play Chinese chequers so I have linked to a site where the download is free for a trial period. if that is not enough then there are plenty of others available.

The problem George faces (as others do too) is a weakness in vocabulary so what he should do is access sites with Business English on them or perhaps a Business English site:

"Welcome to our site! Think of us as your one-stop source for Business English. Our content was created by people with many years of corporate experience - people who actually use Business English on an everyday basis, so you know that you'll get the best, most accurate business vocabulary, phrases, expressions, and jargon.

We have divided our content according to topic. Below you'll find exercises relating to accounting, sales and marketing, project management, interviews, information technology (IT), and more. We've tried to make these exercises as diverse as possible to give ESL students a chance to practice both Business English grammar and vocabulary.

Whether you want to learn/practice specialized terminology related to your field, or just to practice the Business English that you already know, we hope you enjoy our site and find it helpful."

Anyway I hope all the students find this post useful!
